Bullying and Abuse

I am in receipt of constant abuse on here and it has made me a much stronger person.
Fink some people are more vulnerable than others they just choose not open show it until its too late.

It happened to a friend of mine she left the Navy in 2010 but she had been in since was 18 she left after she was bullied but she kept a dairy of the events. She reluctantly spoke to the Padre who helped her deal with it. Often People find it hard to admit it has happened to them.

This is my exact intention, to show people its ok to speak up!

As I've said I myself have been bullied thought out my life. The last time I was bullied I spoke out about it though nothing got done. I was glad I did.

Whilst I do not condone bullying I do not accept the boring of innocent ex service personnel to death either.

Either do something official about it or shut up.

Please.

Something official is being done. Shutting up would not help raise awareness!

Here, here. Not sure what he is after? Bit pointless preaching to this audience.

Reading between the lines, I wonder if it was because he was a gash Navs Yeo?

Why did you put this on that forum? What are you after? I'll be honest you sound like a sad whinger

"I've spoken to a few law firms and all have stood behind the Limitation Act you have mentioned.

I've also spoken to a few journalists, one of which told me very recently it was 'too hot' for him to deal with.

I know in this instance it's me I'm talking about, but I'm sure it's a guarantee I'm not the only person to have had to deal with this. To be honest I'm shocked that nobody (lawers/journalists) has taken an interest. Could it be that a boom in pride of British Forces makes it too much of a riske subject? If nobody in a position to raise awareness of this is bothered, what more can be done."

What I'm after is raising awareness of Service bullying. Have I not made that clear enough?

Yes you have. Well done. Go to a training establishment and preach. It's all a little dull and victim like to be spouted on here.

I'll be honest, having read your replies on the MH forum you sound like a sad whinger. Glad I never served with you.

I was using Mens Health as another platform to get this out there.

Money thing? I dont understand.

well all the info ends up relating to MOD not carrying out it's duty of care etc etc which all seems to be looking at compensation or war pension.

bullying is not good but tell you what in civvy street it's rife just done in a more agressive manner

Trying to get sympathy on here about bullying is like trying to get sympathy from a fox for being a chicken.

The armed forces have come a long way since your time in the mob to combat bullying and although it undoubtably still happens it's a lot less prevalent than it used to be.
