Browser Query - FIREFOX Zoom Funtion?

Discussion in 'Bloody Computers' started by BreathingOutOnTheWayUp, Jan 27, 2013.

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. .
    .
    .

Home PC Windows 7 Norton 360. Trying Firefox out (currently use Opera but it's gone to rats on me lately).

Firefox loaded OK, and I'll gradually find out all about it, but I need to find the Zoom function soonest (if there is one?) to enlarge web pages.

Appreciate a quick steer from anyone clued up, please...

(Much regret my sp. mishtook in the uneditable heading, Guzzler  )

  2. A quick tip that works in most windows applications is holding the CTRL key down and using the mouse wheel to go in and out. It wont change the size of the whole page in proportion, but handy for a closer look at something.

  3. VMT SEP,

That was exactly the solution I needed but I had just never come across it before.

BTW - What news on your 'Acting'...?

  4. Less said about that the better - the gap didn't happen in the end and, even if it had, the decision was that I would have only got substitution pay anyway. Thank you for remembering and for asking though.

  5. Ever tried Google Chrome

  6. Not yet OGs,

Apparently Chrome does poll up as #1 but I'll find my way around Firefox, #2, for now, thank you.
