The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. In 2004 the then chancellor changed the tax law that meant any money earned by servicemen/women after april 2006 could only be commuted at 25% instead of the old 50%. But we only got told about it yesterday!!! How can that be legal???
     
  2. This came up as a thread about 4 weeks ago with the relevant MOD reference: It was announced on the "Impact of finance act 2004 on commutation" and came into force on April 6th 2006 (I think).
