BRNC footwear?

#1
Is all physical training in silver shadows, including the 2.4k run? Could be psychological, but I've tried 2.4k in both silver shadows and my Nike Airs and I was 30s slower in the silver shadows. They just don't feel springy, or like they're good for the joints. Just wondering if it's worth replacing my running shoes, if they're not going to be worn at BRNC, really.

You get issued 2 pairs of training shoes at BRNC, both made by UK Gear. PT-03 for outdoor phys and GT-02 for indoor phys.
If you suffer any physical problems using either of those you can get a chit from the sickbay to use your own.
Aswell as programmed phys you have an afternoon of sport on Wednesdays for which you wear your own kit and once you pass-out you'll still need trainers to do your phys in so it's always worth having a good pair of your own.

Thanks a lot pompeyexpat. That's very useful.
