Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Now when I was on the Ark we had a sin bosun name of Father Jim. He must be wishing that his DO had been the Archbishop of Canterbury then perhaps the Commander would not have stopped his tap so often.
Very popular sin bosun and was always able to get a wet from any mess in the ship on these occasions (well apart from the wardroom) :)

  4. The Bishop Butler always sounds very cogent and sensible on the Today programme. Whatever the circumstances, I'm glad it's done him no immediate harm.

I'm also glad that Mr Sumpter didn't resort to bashing the Bishop!
