Whilst looking for historical information on the Mogadishu Airport seige in 1977, I came across this very interesting website, which covers Britain's conflicts since 1945:
  2. Not having read through the site, which looks bloody interesting to say the least of it, there's a very similarly themed book called
The IWM Book of Modern Warfare: British and Commonwealth Forces at War 1945 to 2000. Edited by Maj. Gen. Julian Thompson.
It's a worthwhile read for anyone interested in that era of conflict, etc.

  3. I see they have included Iraq. Still I suppose it is just a small war - go in, get weapons of mass destruction, pull out - shouldn't take more than a month.

Its been running for some time, an excellent site covering a lot of the forgotten wars.
