Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. An associate had the misfortune to go down a large pothole which punctured both his nearside tyres. As a fully paid up member of the AA(£145.00 pa total cover) he called for assistance. He was told that as it was a pothole it was classed as an RTA and therefore he would be liable to a charge of £108.00 for recovery of the vehicle.Even when the police spoke to them they refused to assist until payment was made in advance.
    1. Check your policy and clarify if need be.
2.If it happens to you dont mention the pothole.
