Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I am a dental nurse in the RN, I would like to branch transfer to be a student nurse, I'm starting an access to nursing course in Sept all being well, does anyone know what the selection process is like and what is involved/expected? Thanks

Direct Entry Student nurses need 5 GCSE's (Maths, English & ideally science) & 280 UCAS points from A Levels.

So far as I'm aware access courses are not accepted in lieu of A Levels for direct entry although it may well be different for sideways entrants.

Best best? Call CNR specialists medical recruiters, they are very helpful: 02392 726096.

    Good luck.
  3. Thank you
