Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. (think this is in the correct place, if not, please accept my apologies)

Firstly let me introduce myself, I am currently a AET(1) serving at 702 in VL; joining my flight in a couple of month off to the Caribbean for 8 month on a RFA whilst pursuing my CW for aspirations of becoming a pilot. I have looked into the whole process of Dartmouth, aptitude tests, element training etc. but I am seeking any extra information/advice you guys may have, as i have a interview with my AEO and Commodore this month.

    Thanks in advance!!
  2. Being at VL your in the right place to get advice from the real pilots and not us old hanger pilots. There has to be some one that has already been where you aspire to go.

    Good luck by the way.
  3. Go for it   Bloody hell 8 month commish on a RFA to the West Indies   I would thought, that i had died, and gone to Heaven!!!! with that draft :D :D
  4. To get a draft like that means that you most certainly have bollocks made of GOLD.
Let's hope they are still shining for you at your interviews :p
