Hi all just a question with regards to " Boy Seaman John 'Jack' Cornwell VC's" grave!! Has anyone been to see his final resting place? and if so is it worth a visit? Reasson I ask is because I have a few days off and it's only an hour away from me. After reading what he did and the way he carried out his duty is inspiring and I would advice anyone joining up like myself to have a read of his account on wikipedia, Awe inspiring stuff lads!!!

It is not wealth or ancestry but honourable conduct and a noble disposition that maketh men great.

NG, please tell us the post action dit about how Jack Cornwell came to be (rightly) elevated to legend. Adm Beatty had something to do with it IIRC.
