Bootneck Saves Para

A touching story, especially at this time of year ...

A Para narrowly escaped serious injury recently when he attempted horseback riding with no prior experience.

After mounting his horse unassisted, the horse immediately began moving.

...As it galloped along at a steady and rhythmic pace, the Para, who has not been named, began to slip sideways from the saddle.

Although attempting to grab for the horse's mane the Para could not get a firm grip.

He then threw his arms around the horse's neck but continued to slide down the side of the horse.

The horse galloped along, seemingly oblivious to its slipping rider.

Finally, losing his grip, the rider attempted to leap away from the horse and throw himself to safety…

However, his foot became entangled in the stirrup, leaving him at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as his head and upper body repeatedly struck the ground.

Moments away from unconsciousness and possible death, to his great fortune a Royal Marine, shopping at Tesco saw him and quickly unplugged the horse!!!
British hit the beach of Normandy and move inland.
Germans counter attack and spot a Royal Marine on top of a hill holding the hill.
German office sends in his best soldier to kill the Marine.
Blood curdling sounds are heard and a disassembled German is thrown down the hill
The German officer sends in 5 of his next best troops.
Again Blood curdling noised and bit of bodies are thrown down the hill.
Next 5o troops are sent in and again the noises and the body parts are everywhere
but one German manages to escape down the hill shouting:

Its a trap Its a Trap........................there are 2 of them.
I always wondered what happened to the army of men sitting outside of Tesco's on a Saturday, waiting for their Mrs, looking like they've lost the will to live.
Mystery solved :)
