WW2 was fought, in the main, by civilians in uniform. This is a new book looking at the men who were called up for war service, what they thought and why did they chuck Churchill out at the end of the war in such an overwhelming way. Although written about the army, I am sure the feelings and frustrations were very similary for Matelots.

The entry form for this can be found here: Browned Off and Bloody Minded

There are three copies of this book available as prizes and the first drawn will be sent a copy. The competition will run until Sunday 12 April.
