This competition is for the chance to win one of 5 copies of this book about an ex-SF bod who goes vigilante. A good read and a first class first novel by Robert Cameron.

The codename of the guy is STERLING which as many here will know is also the name of the Small Metal Gun carried by many cold war warriors; so I have used that as the basis for the questions in this competition. Confused? Good. To enter just go to the entry form on Survey Monkey and complete correctly for your chance to win this book.

Competition will run until Sunday 31st March.

The book has been reviewed for ARRSE and that can be found here. It is a good story and worth a punt.

    Answers & Winners - STERLING

This comp having closed and winners decided here is the news to either put you out of your misery or celebrate. The winners are

    • rebbonk
    • fang-farrier
    • garret_thief
    • Moosebuster
    • Ancienturion

I will email each of the winners to let them know and to get them to email me their addresses.

    Answers are:

Q1 - The Sterling entered British army service in 1953

Q2 - The Sterling was used in StarWars for the troopers weapon

Q3 - Over 400,000 sterlings were made. (I used 'circa' to keep the answers clean as 'over' would have included the first option as well.)
