James Ivimey spent 10 years with The Cheshire Regiment and this is a tale of the ups, and more hilariously, the downs of that time, from being locked up in civvy jail in Hong Kong to patrolling in N Ireland. The book is being reviewed at the moment but looks like a good 'squaddy' book.

We have been given 3 copies as prizes in the Book Comps section so for your chance to win a ciopy go to Survey Monkey entry form which can be found here.

The review will be posted as soon as it is done. Competition will last until Sunday 17th August and will close when I get round to it that day!

This has been the most popular book competition this year to date; but only three people can win a copy of the book. These three lucky winners are:

Congrats to them. The answers to the really hard questions were:

Q1 The Regimental March of the Cheshires was "Wha Wouldna Fecht for Charlie"

Q2 The EFI = Expeditionary Forces Institute and NCS = Naval Canteen Service

Q3 - The first treaty for Hong Kong was signed in 1842
