Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. High Plains Drifter, Pale Rider, We were Soldiers, A Few Good Men, if Mrs S wasn't around I'd put them on replay.
  2. We were soldiers is ace. The Sgt Maj rules! I tried to respond to your PM but your inbox is full of messages from 12 year old virgins or some shit.
  3. Zulu, A Bridge Too Far, Swordfish, to name but a few.
  4. The Crying Game. Far more manly than anyone expected.

  5. "The Sweeney" (2012). featuring Ray Winstone in his undercrackers going at it like a bloke whose Birthdays have
arrived all at once. Violent, full of swearing, shooting, baseball bat battering, drinking and Mister Winstone having
sex with a nice looking lady. What more could a bloke want? (besides being Ray Winstone that is).

Going to watch a downloaded version (again) in about ten minutes.

Heartily recommended by Billy and his fellow Shift-workers....standfast the females.

My crew are standing by to take the piss out of me in about 90 minutes.

Google it, it's a genuine movie.
  8. Sounds almost as good as "I bought a vampire Motorcycle"*

*Best watched after a couple of beers
  9. John Travolta in 'Paris with Love' Travolta at his best.

'My friend Flicka' and 'Thunderhead the son of Flicka'.
  11. Now you lot are gettin' a wee bit silly....
  12. Never heard of that one billy who's in it
  13. Pop a tin, have a slice of cold pizza and get your favourite sock out.

Any VHS video/Betamax cast-off about women is prison.
    Can't beat a Chicks-behind-bars sleaze-fest.

    How about:

    The Cruel Sea
    The Yangtze Incident
    A Bridge Too Far

I could say In Which We Serve but Mr Coward does not really come over (no pun) as manly.

Once upon a time in America.
    Kelly's heroes.
  18. A fair list except whats manly about a load of cowardly pongos shooting the shit outta brothers from behind mele bags?
Now Zulu Dawn that's different, the bros charging artillery, what courage and testosterone induced bravery.
And we win so that's a bonus.
  19. Apocalypse Now, The Battle of Britain, Ice Cold in Alex, The Big Red One and this rare re-make of a Clint Eastwood classic:-
