  2. Although the recovery will be managed by the Foundation, the bulk of the bullion is thought will probably be taken by Odyssey, though the Foundation/museums will get a few bronze cannon to keep and display.
    If the bullion is estimated at £500m, then surely a fixed price contract would be in the Government's best interest to negotiate with the Americans, with a good chance to clear some of our deficit here - unless the Dutch wish to make a claim, as it appears that some of it is their monies ?
    Does prize money still belong to the descendents of the crew,. despite Lingfield's statement - I bet the lawyers would like to comment ? ;)
