I was told by the son of the then headmaster of the College that the bomb arrived just as the top men were having a meeting about whether to evacuate it. So they did.

According to the local ITN news in Guzz tonite, someone from FOST will be adressing college staff Tuesday morning - any significance ?

I understand from an oppo at Raleigh that it's closed gangway tomorrow whilst the decision is explained to the staff there. Same at BRNC so I'm told.

Hmm, further comment deleted for potential legal reasons.

Ha! No longer privy to such information.

Or any other at Raleigh for that matter...

Just to clutch at straws, tat might just be to promulgate news of the review and what it means, rather than anything directly affecting BRNC/Raleigh. Just so that they don't have a couple of hundred baby officers/ratings asking them silly questions and not being able to answer them for the next 24 hours...

    Or BRNC's moving to Fisgard/Spickernell/Raleigh....

    Or Raleigh's moving to BRNC....

    you speculated here first....

But if Raleigh went Torpoint would be a ghost town.

    Oh, hang on...
