Optimistic Recruit
Midshipman

Hello all,
Tricky question, so honesty is the best policy.
Back in early 2019 I got into a bit of danger by mistake and the police helped me out. I kept a police log of what was happening.
I found out in mid-2019 false allegations were made against me. However, the police did not contact me about these allegations.
Just to clarify, my criminal record is clean. I have no cautions, warnings, reprimands, spent convictions, or unspent convictions.
I assume the events of early-mid 2019 would show up in the background checks the Navy do?
I plan to tell my recruiter about the above at the interview stage. Is this the right thing to do?
