Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I recently discovered a memorial to British servicemen killed in Azerbaijan in 1918-19, and one of the servicemen was a shipwright 4th class called C.L. Prentice of the Royal Navy. If anyone wishes to have photographs of this memorial pls email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to send them by return.

  2. Should have also mentioned that the memorial included two men from the Royal Marine Light Infantry, a Lance Corporal P.R.Ponting and a Private G.G.Bowles. Offer of photos still stands.
