Is John Howard right?

Now that is excactly the attitude that makes me want to emmigrate there and embrace the Aussie way of life completely.

I got married out there a year ago and my wife fell in love with the place as well. So here hopeing that in about 5 -10 years we'll be out there and away from Blair, Brown and the rest of the scum that ruin this country.
 
This thread will take off very soon, I am sure.

Following the raid in London last week, the Islamic community really has to take a good look at itself and not bleat about victimisation. There is no doubt that the majority of the current terrorist threat comes from within the Islamic world and the best way of ending the perceived anti-Muslim stance of the security services is to counsel the radical elements in the community against taking terrorist action. This has to include rhetoric, which is why Abu Hamza and co should expect deportation at the very minimum.

It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture. If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don’t like “A Fair Go†then you should seriously considera move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don’t care how you did things where you came from.

This is OUR COUNTRY,OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy this. But once you are done complaining, whining and griping, about OUR FLAG, OUR PLEDGE, OUR NATIONAL MOTTO or OUR WAY OF LIFE.

I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great Australian freedom.

In this country the BNP must be rubbing their hands with glee,were really between a rock and a hard place.perhaps this is what scares the pollies.
 
There is a certain irony about countries founded on immigration and cultural brutality complaining about people immigrating to them in such a beligerent way.

And a dash of hypocrisy from people who cheer those complaints who themselves wish to become immigrants and aid in the spread of their own culture to a land that was conquered.

I could not imagine surendering my right to live in this country because of a perceived threat from others, that would only make me a refugee.
 
Have you ever been to Australia? If you had then I think you would realise why I want to live there and work there.

Makes this place look like a shit hole.

What apart from surfing,diving, yahcting, flying, skiing
The fact that they love every sport and not shitty football
Some of the best food and wine in the world.
Great working attitude
A tough shit attitude to PC
Great scenery, great drinking

The reason aussies are over here is to make shitloads of cash and take it back home with a 3 to 1 exchange rate. And on the whole I didnt meet many small minded and ignorant people....which was a nice change.

Oh yeah and it's closer to Hong Kong and Singers, my next 2 favorite places in the world.

I'm as big a fan of Oz as anyone, but you can find all of those things here. :)

Yeah, apart from the skiing, clear diving conditions (with interesting fish etc) only a handfull of GREAT surfing (have to wear winter rig usualy)
There is only one sport according to the moron media, PC has taken over our lives. Ohhhh don't work people too hard or they might sue. etc etc etc

And I'll take VB over Carling anyday, And Ive only found one decent english wine compared to stacks in Aus.
 
I have no problems with people wishing to emmigrate because they have found a place and culture they love and wish to assimilate. But to start mouthing off about how bad the place they wish to leave is is very likely to ruffle a few feathers.
 
Whilst Nozzy's spoof on the Oz debate is pretty apt, the current Australians are not responsible for the mistakes of their European forebears. This is the 21st century in the Christian calendar, 20th post Mohammed and I wish that UK plc would take the same stance towards any of the ethnic minorities in cosmopolitan GB whose aim is to take over our society.

I do not believe in God, nor do I want any religion to tell me what to do or believe, but I respect those to whom God is important. Good is more important, so if you don't like our way of life, find somewhere else to live. That's all the Aussies are saying and I agree.
