Not sure about that one. Whilst there are those who milk the system, including far too many of our native population, they are NOT the majority - regardless of what the Red Tops claim. :x

Britain is a nation of immigrants and we rely on immigrants to, for example, support the National Health Service or to do menial tasks the British see themselves as above.

What concerns me is the new Under Class who sponge from us Working Class (formely known as Working/Middle Class) in the form of handouts.

Nowadays no-one will take responsibilty for the fact that they ran up £75,000 debts; feel bored so vandalise the local community centre; or got pregant at school. The Government just has to bail these wasters out with comforting words of "There, there, never mind it's not your fault; it's the situation you were in".

In the past people worked hard graft to try and progress themselves and ensure they could provide for their family and future. Now you just need know how to leech from the local council. We have reached a point in society where we are degrading rather than improving and you and I are footing the bill.

I don't deteste anyone for their race or creed but I do deteste those who are out for what they can get and refuse to contribute to our society.

I echo your sentiments. The question that I ask is why are the government doing sweet FA about the situation. Its not as if all the loafing bstards put together could alter the voting pattern

That's reasonable enough and I agree, but just remember they are a minority.

The admin costs of acting against the few would mean scrutinising everyone and would be prohibitive! The problem is that the more checks and balances you introduce the longer the process takes and the more civil servants you need. Given the desire to cull the latter and the fact that the savings would never be recovered given the additional costs involved, doing sweet FA is fiscally the most sensible, pragmatic option.
