Article: Picking Up the Brass/Map of Africa by Eddy Nugent

Enjoyed picking up brass immensely. If I had any criticism at all it would be that it dwelled slightly too long on the very early days of basic training.

P.S Just bought map of Africa for Kindle. A bargain at £3.44

Mmmmm - No mention of it (that I could find) at ARRSE and the author's name set the alarm bell ringing.

Ccould this be a Wah and has Amazon thus been had??
Very much enjoyed both books, and had a good chat about it with a workmate who served in Belize. Not suprisingly he was able to add a tale or two about the various brothels and drinking establishments. I believe that there is a third book in the pipeline dealing with Eddies trasition from service back to civvy life. Not sure how long it will be before this comes out but I'm looking forward to it.
