A program on the BBC last night gave information on how you can check that your property in in the correct band.
It gave information on how to appeal the banding and perhaps get it reduced.
If successful the council must pay back the excess you have been paying for a number of years.
Be warned however the sites that you will visit are extremely busy at present due to numbers wanting this information.
