Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Today is ANZAC Day so, have a good one Blobbs and NZB (and any other RR'ers who live down there) :thumbright:
  2. I'l drink to that
  3. Not too many tinnies now, have a great day.
  4. Splice the mainbrace !!
  5. You'll drink to anything!
  6. Bit unfair - as I recall from school, ANZAC is Australia, New Zealand and CANADA day, so not only 'down there' but 'over there'.

Poor geography skills! :D Maybe you could navigate a nuclear boat............

Have a good one all you Dinks, Kiwis and Canucks.
  7. ANZAC is the abbreviation for AustraliaN and New Zealand Army Corps.

Sorry SB, but you may be a little bit off the mark with Canada. I understand the abbreviation was first used at Galipolie (spelling, pse see me), and kinda stuck thereafter.

But here's to all the Canadian and other commonwealth men who for our tomorrow, gave their today.
  8. Well, what can I say? Lucky I put a smiley in there! Must have been a crap school or maybe I was half asleep that day!

So, you still up for driving a boat?
