My Favourite albums are all Muse, so I haven't bothered listing them individually as none of my fellow old duffers will have heard of them. Went to see them at MEN Arena last November- superb.
I'm going on 55 and love all Muse's stuff too!

Best Albums?

Abbey Road

The Yes Album

The Bends

Blood Sugar Sex Magik

Selling England by the Pound

But that depends on the day, or even the hour!

Live music conquers all and tributes are worth a look!

Muse

Pink Floyd (in their absence Aussie Pink Floyd)

Genesis (G2 tribute are pretty good)

Yes (Fragile are good enough for Steve Howe to have played with them?

Buddy Whittington - great blues guitarist

Best singles/insrumentals - difficult because I am 60 today and it is about twenty years since I bought a single but these spring to mind as all time favourites.

1. Classical Gas - Mason Williams
2. Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
3. Hotel California - Eagles
4. American Pie - Don McLean (not Maradonna)
5. The Year of the Cat - Al Stewart

As for albums, normally anything by The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Genesis or Supertramp but last night I played my Brahms "Ein Deutches Requiem" with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Otto Klemperer EMI CDC 7243 5 56218 2 5 and that is awesome, but posssibly not what was asked for.

No way could I put 5 definitive songs up here but here are 5 of my favourites in the order they occur to me...

Wish I Had An Angel - Nightwish

Never Gonna Be Alone - Nickelback

The Evil That Men Do - Iron Maiden

Numb - Linkin Park (the original, not the tainted version abused by Jay-Z!)

Forgotten Sons - Marillion

Favourite album has to be Dark Passion Play by Nightwish, absolutely brilliant and whenever I hear one song from it I have to listen to the whole album!
