Dire Straits - Private Investigations. Bit cheesy and not my favourite now, but I have liked it for so much for so long now, that it has to be numero uno.
ACDC - Hells Bells. Likewise.
Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive - same again.
U2 - With or WithoutnYou. And again.
Lennon - Imagine
U2 The Joshua Tree. It's the only one I can think of off the top of my head (except Best ofs) where I can listen to 80% of it with no urge to skip a track.
Metallica = black album (although the earlier stuff is growing on me)
Stone roses = greatest hits (is selecting a greatest hits cheating?)
ltj bukem = progresion sessions
Wu tang = 36 th chambers
Lost boys = legal drug money
Thomsun Originals, with a free case if you bought 10? The advent of the MP3 has killed off the grat issue album, as it is no longer neccesary to play the same album over and over again on the mess stereo.
I have to agree with NS about Muse being the best band around at the mo. Black holes is easily the best driving album ever. Unless its really sunny. Then its Legend by Bob Marley.
BTW, the new Radiohead album is worth a listen for 45p, though I supect you need to listen to it a few times before it really grows on you.
