Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hi all,

Though i'd ask this question here as opposed to in the newbie forum as all you seem to get there is sarcasm and abuse!

As an AC do you qualify for aircrew pay? I have asked my AFCO who said they would get back to me 3 weeks ago and wondered if anyone here knows?

    Thanks for the help

Only aircrew get flying pay unfortunately - this is due to the fact they fly.
  3. Why should you get aircrew pay as an AC?
You are controlling the aircraft not flying in it.
Bit like paying for a whore in a brothel co syou've walked past it. :p
  4. Hoop, evan wafu's can drag themselves out of their pits for long enough to throw abuse and sarcasm at newbies
  5. Thanks guys,

I'm sure i'll get used to your 'great' sence of humour.
  6. Soon, you will be truly "hilarious" like us, honest.

    We're all crazy disco kids..............
  7. As AC's, we should get danger pay, not flying pay. Them chinographs are always too sharp, and we run the risk of getting them stuck our orifices along with a CAC's light pen. Also, paper cuts from maps and charts, piles from the seat in the op's room, these are just a few of the obstacles we have to adapt and overcome.

But, we never ever drip about it. NEVER.
