Air Engineer Technician

  1. Ive recently passed my medical and fitness and hopefully be starting basic training soon, i just want to know about the role im going for. Obviously, ive researched and know the basics about it but i want to hear from someone who's served/serving within this role.
    Generally i'd like to know what a day consists of
    Is it enjoyable
    Good opportunities when you come out of the RN
    HMS Sultan training.

    It's the best job in the RN, and dont let those nasty fisheads tell you any different!!!

    And I would suggest chaging you name, Sultan instructors lurk around on here :)

    And OP, it's Engineering Technician and a long way from actually being registered as one with the Engineering Council, but if you do, opportunities outside are high quality....if you are.

  4. Don't listen to Seaboot, he is being pedantic cos he was not chosen to be one of Gods own, namely a Wafu.;)
    However some of his advice is good, use the facilities available in the Rn and gain your Engineering qualifications, hard work but worth the end result:)
