Air Engineer Technician

Ive recently passed my medical and fitness and hopefully be starting basic training soon, i just want to know about the role im going for. Obviously, ive researched and know the basics about it but i want to hear from someone who's served/serving within this role.
Generally i'd like to know what a day consists of
Is it enjoyable
Good opportunities when you come out of the RN

Don't listen to Seaboot, he is being pedantic cos he was not chosen to be one of Gods own, namely a Wafu.;)
However some of his advice is good, use the facilities available in the Rn and gain your Engineering qualifications, hard work but worth the end result:)
