How about

Excuse me but does anyone know the waitlng time for aircraft engineer?

When you can write in English correctly then it may be possible to tackle other more complex subjects.
Best sign up for an English course!

Confirm that official Waiting Time for AET is listed as 5 months as of June this year.

In practice, some applicants are waiting 7.

So how will that affect someone like me who sat the RT in February but has been messed around on the medical? Will my wait time be from when I pass the medical?

For those entering into air engineering, it may interest you to know that currently 1 in 6 Ratings joining the RN are currently joining in this specialisation & we need about 300 ish this next year. To achieve this figure we "over-recruit" by about 20% to allow for those that either leave voluntarily, fail training or submit notice to quit.

The waiting time, as Soleil has stated is indeed around 5+ months from passing all elements of selection, however it is anticipated this length of time will increase if current numbers of applicants persist.

Ninja,
How would that affect me? Would I get priority for a place because I've been in the system since before that waiting time, or would it just carry on as normal?

I don't mind waiting either way I suppose, I just need to make plans if I have longer to wait than I originally thought.

I knew they were pushing for AETs!
I said this to the AFCO and he said he didn't know about that, I was like, but it's plastered all over the RN website... http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/careers/ has been for the last year or so. In my own head I'm on first name terms with Chantel Mcclafferty, she's got so many clips on there.
