AIB

I have failed this once I am not prepared to let the same happen again.

Can you give any tips for next time.

Is it worth approaching my local sea cadets branch for more experience?

Never having taken an AIB I am unable to offer any advice except, if you know the reasons for failing then concentrate on those.

Take on board the reasons for the failure and address these areas. If you think that approaching the local SCC or Marine Cadet detatchment, presumably as an instructor, would help with these areas then yes, do it. If the weaknesses weren't in that area then what would the purpose be?

Otherwise, ask questions about specifics.

Having just read your posting in the corp all I can say is go away and prepare yourself to be dissapointed again. Officer, I don't think you would make captain of the heads.
