AIB and officers training!

  1. hey i have my AIB comming up soon and i was told to brush up on my RNK and the training process. The officer at my sifting interview recomended that i came here. Can anyone give me any help for things i need to know.
    im applying for an MEO. i know i need to go to HMS Colloingwood but is there anything else?

    i need some help!

  3. i dont know the officer at my initial interview said i would be at collingwood
  4. As Sol has said, Marine Engineers train at Sultan, Weapons Engineers at Collingwood.

    jus one more question, what is involved in the first 2 years training as an officer?
  6. If you give us a rundown of how you think the first two years pan out, based on what you know so far, we can point out any gaps or any inaccuracies.

    By the way, do you have a date for your AIB?
  7. no i dont im a welbeck candidate so i need to go to welbeck for a day next wednesday then i get my AIB

    i know that i spend 14 weeks doing officers training but im not sure where
    then i spend 14 weeks at HMS Sultan doing MEO training
    i dont know anything after that :oops:

    I don't think these figures of 14 weeks can be right, you know ..........
  10. If anyone else is reading this one thing that may help is to make a booklet out of the information above and jus keep reading over it. thats what ive done and it is helping :D
