Hi all. I've handed in my application for joining the Navy. My test is on the 18th of July. I have a useful psychometric test book, and i really must dig out old GCSE text ooks toget to grips with basic maths (i'm shocking at it).
The man at the AFCO read my first choice of trade (warfare specialist) and said i should keep my options open. It's not the first time people have suggested that another trade may be better... but why is this? And can anyone really sell me their trade, you know, tell me which you think is best and why? I'd appreciate it. Not that i'm presuming i'll have the pick of the trades (though AFCO man figured my qualifications were good, they won't help me pass the test), but if i get lucky, i'd be grateful for your input.
Also, what can i expect from the test? Am i to dress fairly smartly? Does it matter? Any other tips?
Thanks!
