Hi, I’m in the process of joining and training to become an AET I was just wondering is the travel really limited or is it just not by ship, any ex or serving WAFU fancy sharing there experiences abroad?
Thanks.

I qualify as 'ex'.
Yes you can travel, the new carriers will solve that one. As well as the carriers it will need escorts. Usually carrying helicopters.
.When I', now there's something you don't hear every day. (Much). On 819, land based. In the 80's I spent much time in the States and Bahama's. Also Norway and a few exotic places in the UK too!!!! Does the Isle of Man count as foreign??????
Sometimes, most times, the UK was the better run ashore.
As for sharing experiences. Sorry, If I tell ya I'll have to kill ya!!!!!! :p:D:D:D

For Wafus the Isle of Weight and Hayling Island count as foreign
