A New Slant on Policing in Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Hong Kong police on Tuesday shot a 27-year-old man in the backside as he brandished a fruit knife and ran towards a group of elderly residents.

Police were called to a bus stop in the city's Tsing Yi district on Tuesday morning amid reports that a man was waving a knife around and behaving strangely.

When a group of three officers confronted him, he ran towards a group of elderly residents sitting nearby and was shot in the buttocks by one of the officers, a police spokesperson said.

The suspect suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, however.
Bet that cured his piles!
