A good old firned of mine

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hey all my mate is a welder in the North sea oil fields he works 225 days a year, but wants to join the RNR UWFP. All he wants to know is would he be able to do UWFP without having to change his days on oil rigs.

  2. All of your mate is a welder? That's fortunate.
  3. What's a "firned"?
  4. If he can work his schedule around the training then fine. I work offshore in the North sea too, and I have managed to fit nearly all the UWFP training in so far.
