This would make me sooooooo happy...

A few little snippets to wet your appetites...

"Gordon Brown may be poised to quit Downing Street"

"questions were being raised about Mr Brown’s health given the sustained pressure he is under as the Government lurches from one crisis to another."

"One former Cabinet ally described him as “basically going mentalâ€. "

Only a matter of when he calls the next one before the Conservatives are back in. I do wonder if they have a snappy tune like Labour did in 97.
  3. I did like the comment that his seat was ever so safe and thus was actively being sought. It was safe till he became PM. Labour in Fife has bled votes for the past 5 years and there is nothing happening to change this. They only managed to hold onto Glenrothes next door by the skin of their teeth. Much of the current majority is not a Labour vote but a Brown vote and when he goes that vote will go to. If they parachute some head office hopeful in I reckon they will lose.

Labour are basically fcuked, I reckon the jocks will give them a good kicking in favour of the SNP because they ain't going to vote Conservative whilst their arrse points south. That leaves what, the NE of England and Liverpool? I can't see many conservative or lib dem votes there, perhaps a bit of a showing for the BNP in places though.

Has the UK ever had an insane PM before? I know we've had a king who was mad as a box of frogs.
  5. Yes we had Walter Mitty Blair, who squandered the nations prosperity while his then mad chancellor sold off all the liquid assets at rock bottom prices. Before him there were a few others.
The main pre requisete for any MP is the ability to lie, sorry to tell termilogical inexactitudes, this is enhanced by the Government dumbing down education, result, A new society capable of believing anything they are told, because people just don't think for themselves....Now what shall I do for the rest of the day...Any suggestions?
  6. I think that should read 'the sustained pressure he has put himself under.

That comes very easy to some and Brown is a specialist, the expert who has written all the books on how to do it. He can't help himself now, he is a pathological liar and I, for one, will never ever believe anything he says ever again.
A con artist of the highest order.
  7. “To be honest, you could walk away from all of this tomorrow. I’m not interested in what accompanies being in power."

What a lying barsteward. All he ever did was to covet power and the office of Prime Minister. And now he's in the top job he's about as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest.
  8. The conservatives are actually beginning to show encouraging signs of an increase in popularity in the North-East at the moment, mainly thanks to some very poor local government.
  9. They are showing some signs of recovering all over , but I think we are still a long way from seeing cars with stickers in the back window saying 'Don't blaim me I voted Tory' yet as we did at the end of the last period of labour misrule.
  10. It was once not worth putting your life at risk round my way by mentioning you were a Tory, now you just get spat at. :)
  11. How about Budgie's '' In the grip of a tyre fitters Hand'' :)
