A few questions if I may...

Hello all, wondering if someone could answer a few questions I have.. I've been looking into the RFA as it is something I'm extremely interested in doing however due to the lack of information online I have a few unanswered questions...

Are there any fitness requirements?

Training is in "seamanship" .. What does this actually entail?

And in general from anyone with experience in the RFA would you recommend it yourselves as a career choice?

Thanks in advance for any replies, much appreciated!
I'm not ex-RN sadly, I've been unable to join the RN due to an injury which leaves me unable to complete the fitness tests without using a supportive strap for my ankle, with the strap I have no issues but was informed by the careers office to pass I'd have to do it unsupported so he suggested I look into the RFA.

So was just wondering if I'd have the same issue with the RFA or whether their fitness policy is a little more lax, can't seem to find any information online so wondered if any of you fellas would know.
