Sorry if this is the wrong section i didn't have much time to post this.

I dropped out of school in year 10 due to a certain game addiction on the net.

I'm now 16 and want to do something with my life, I've been reading and watching videos of royal marine commandos out in battle and general life etc, And it makes me warm and fuzzy inside when i watch them, my uncle was in the RAF, my father in the british army and my uncle was also in the british army, i feel like the marine commando life is for me!

But i'm not sure what they get payed, obviously i need to live and support my mother so before i think about getting in shape and joining up i need to understand how much they get payed and accomodations

I've checked the website and couldn't really find anything on the yeary/monthly pay and i would really like this cleared up!

Regards, Craig

When you are a nod (recruit) it is about 12k goes up to 15k when you pass out. Accom is currently being improved throughout the Corps to single man cabbins with en-suit facilities. Whilst you are a nod you will live in 6-8 man rooms.

poor lad,

On completion of your recruit training you will have a pass out parade.
So i'm a recruit during the 32 weeks training? Sorry i must of misread your above post, Didn't think i would be payed during the training.

Also do i have to pay for the accom? or food or anything supplied to me whilst i am stationed somewhere?

EDIT: how often do you get sent on a mission a week? ( once you've passed out )

Yeah, I'm looking to spend as long as i can as commando and specialise with snipers as soon as i can, but i also want to make some money, i just needed to know if all the money i get will be going towards accoms, food and not have anything to spend on myself. it's allways nice to have some money in your pocket.

Take a Haidressers course, and a sewing machine course before you join up, that way when you become a Corporal you can detail them off to get a haircut, then charge them a fortune for it, likewise with the sewing, all clothes need repaired now and then, before you know it, you will have earned enough to buy yourself out and start up a business at the main gate, your fortune assured. :thumright:
