Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Subic Bay, Philippines, June 13, 1969

While moored at River Point pier, Subic Bay,
Philippines, stern to the pier, the Royal Navy
diesel submarine HMS Rorqual SS2 approached
a little too fast, ramming Endurance amidships.

  2. I have read Menzies book. It seems long on speculation and short on facts. Subic Bay was a top run ashore though (in small doses)

  3. Wasnt that what everybody came away with?
