  1. Hey who ever reads this, I'm not too sure how this works so i do appologise.
I'm 19 years old and have been interested in joining the Navy for quite some time now as a Logistics Officer. I know what i want to do BUT I'm not quite sure how to go about it. I've just found out theres a bit of a waiting list to join the Navy as my younger brother wants to join and I'm wondering if anyone knows if that includes Officer stuff to?
If someone knows I would be more than grateful.
Thank you and a big HELLO x

  2. Hi Navy Option!

    Welcome to Rum Ration!

    OK: Logistics Officer.

Here's all the basic stuff about that role - you will need 180 UCAS points and 5 GCSEs including English and Maths:

    How to go about it?

Get in touch with the RN Careers Advisors in Plymouth and make an appointment to go in. Contact details here:

There are very significant waiting times for Rating Entry; for Officers, it's not so much a question of a waiting time, rather the time it takes to go through all of the different stages on the way to your AIB and then, hopefully, on to BRNC. A year or so is a reasonable guess.

  3. brilliant, thanks for that :)
