    They have their roots in the defence industry and continues to enjoy sustained growth in this area combined with successful diversification into the commercial marketplace.
    Following recent successes, my client faces the opportunity to further develop its consultancy business into new market areas. In order to address this, they require a dynamic and motivated Senior Recruitment Consultant with an appetite for the challenges ahead.
    The Role
    You will be reporting to the Operations Manager and have responsibility for sourcing high quality candidates for existing consultancy projects, together with developing new client relationships. Activity will be focussed on the placement of high calibre ex-military and civilian personnel to the Defence, National Security & Resilience, and Government sectors on both a Consultancy and permanent basis.
    Principal challenges include:

    Exploiting current market position in order to realise challenging sales targets
    Raising my clients profile through targeted networking; marketing campaigns, including attendance at exhibitions; and the generation of appropriate marketing materials.
    Identification of new business opportunities
    Developing long-term strategic relationships with customers.
    Sourcing talented candidates and matching to customer requirements
    Maintaining up to date client and candidate databases
    Your duties will also include organising, planning and managing the interview process right through from initial screening to the placement of job offers and reference checks.

    The Candidate
    The successful candidate will have experience working within the Military sector and a strong track record in the recruitment industry. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is an entrepreneurial, commercially oriented mindset.
