Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hello,

I'm Mark Jones from Northern Ireland. I'm not sure if i'm on the right type of forum or not but i need some guidance on researching three relatives who served with the royal navy. Two served during the 2nd world war...one died during a Naval exercise at HMS Drake in 1950...this is my own grandad's brother & i have most of his details i.e. service number, date of birth, rank, etc. The second is my granny's brother & i only have his d.o.b. The third served post war and again all i have is his d.o.b. All three men are dead now.

If any more details are required, just let me know.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mark
