As it costs around £30 to repair properly I'm going to retract my previous statement singing it's praises and ditching Buffalo as the durability and quality of their product have seemingly gone down hill, for the cost of two repairs I could almost buy a new one. I know of a fair few others who have suffered similar zip failings so am not alone.

    So, options:

Montane extreme, Keela belay or Snugpak elite. I will be buying one of these three at the weekend, can anyone recommend which one based on use and experience?
Snugpak,Snugpak,Snugpak. I have had 2 buffalos (really a diver in a buffalo) and they thin down after 2 washes. My Snugpak has stayed nice and thick and warm and lasts for years. Bit heavy for a shirt buit honestly who wears them as designed?

I didn't attend his funeral but wrote a nice letter saying I approved of it.

In a fraction of a second they are projected into eternity and will never possess a final resting home.
They have graves without bodies, they are an exceptional breed of people....
It is an utmost proudness of myself to have met these men, those lords that I salute, praise and admire.

To be honest, i've been using Snugpak for years (after a similar experience with my Buffalo) and it's pretty good kit to be honest. Quite reasonably priced as well.
    Targets will fall when hit....

Bought the Montane extreme after trying that and the Snugpak and having a look at an oppos Keela. Despite being a bit more bulky, the Montane won hands down for me, seems more durable, fits better and perhaps more importantly, looks allier. Go outdoors tried to charge me £99 then tried to get out of their price match guarantee before finally realising they didn't have any large in stock. In the end got it from RVOps for £74. Mega.

Real men wear seamen's jerseys. Without a vest underneath...
Some people are only alive because it's illegal to kill them...

As Janner says, that has started me itching all over again. At Ganges (Zzzzzzz) wearing a t shirt under your seamans jersey meant at least 3 orbits of the parade ground and the bastards checked every morning. Joining up in November wasn't such a good idea.

Give a man a fish and he'll feed his family for a day,
teach a man to fish and he'll sit round on a boat all day drinking beer.

It would be fuckin cheeper to move to a hot climate and you could live like a king on the saved money.

When I was a child I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child.
When I became a man I joined Rum Ration, it was a natural progression.
    But with swearing.
