    Silver nitrate is good for that........allegedly! We used to use it back aft for SG Sampling, not that we carry it as a matter of course has any relevance.

    Probably not, I got bollocked by JT as a baby sailor - in those days, someone with buttons on his sleeve was 'GOD' to we babies, and I never served in boats, just had two stints at Dolphin working with them in stores accounts.
