Re: Time this site was cleaned up.
boo hoo, wah,
the nasty people won't let me use highly offensive language, won't let me generalise about other people on the grounds of their ethnicity, religion, race, sex, sexual orientation even though this is illegal under several anti discrimination acts.
wah, it's not fair,
wah, we don't care what the rest of the world thinks of the RN or RM even though a lot of site members do
wah, wah, wah, wah.
Dry your eyes and post highly offensive stuff somewhere else. This is a fun forum, where wit and banter are appreciated and racism, sexism and homophobia aren't.
I find it quite amusing that your tag line is "If all you have to say is shite, then keep your gob shut" Scran_bag because a lot of what you write is complete garbage.

Not once have I said that I agree with any of the threads/posts in question.
I am totally opposed to censorship in any form.
Who censors the censors ?If all you have to say is shite, then keep your gob shut.

Awesome post. Witty and relevant without resorting to playground humour.

Vote BNP as well did you? Only messing - in a perfect world were everyone is educated and doesn't hold bigoted views, a free and open debate should be possible even encouraged. Unfortunately it is not a perfect world.
Remember "all it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing". By accepting peoples extreme comments, even laughing at them, it becomes acceptable to make them and they force their way into the mainstream. Once that happens then we're on a very slippery slope.

So how would this work with 50 or so people all on a pussers grey?

Except that the majority on here are the very people who have fought for freedom to speak freely and would never accept bigotry against anyone weak or defenceless in real life.
I think this whole topic should just calm down.
RR gets rough at times. It’s not, however real life. Real life is where the rest of us rely, or have relied on many of the hard-core RR users to do the unmentionable in the name of national security while we sleep.
Whatever temporal irritation with each other at times, (shut it, X), when the chips are down, it is these people who come through as solid and you know where you are with them, however loud it gets at times……things get out of hand, but we censor each other.
Monty’s cry for help re: disabled veteran immediately got concrete financial offers of help, not just verbal empathy and furrowed brows. People on here have hearts of gold, help out in very real ways, and that’s rare these days.
Personally, I responded to the original poster of the Disabled Bloke thread because it was what I felt but that’s nothing new for anyone on here….we all post what we think and feel, that is a ‘given’ and the very fact people say what they mean shows we censor each other in a way ….leave it be. You expect people to spit back. That’s RR.
As for RJ going, wish he wasn’t…..whatever the content, the man’s imagination and method of writing is second-to-none and no-one is spared. Hardly 'discriminatory' on that score.
It’s RR, Internet, Diamond Lil’s, military and hot air. We are free to speak up and say our piece. Fcuking outrageous at times, yes, but there's enough of a chance to challenge things on here for it to be safe.'He is not missing. He is here'.
Field Marshal Lord Plumer, 24th July 1927, Menin Gate.
