    Oyvey already

When I was a child I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child.
When I became a man I joined Rum Ration, it was a natural progression.
    But with swearing.

Like 99% of people here, 'Never heard of him".

We have now, already because Wiki has this:

Re: Jewish Chronicle: "Jewish Man Becomes Royal Navy Admiral"

BOOTWU's post suggests the noble Lord holds an Honorary Commission with the RNR. The JC suggests he is an RN RAdm. Which is correct? Is this yet another example of the media completely misunderstanding the structure of the RN / Armed Forces?

At risk of sounding like Norman, you would think that with our ratio of Admirals to Ratings, that we would know them all personally, but as my entire operational Naval career was spent working on or with warships, the name escapes me also.

Whilst the majority of service personnel only profess their religion when they want something, such as promotion to Officer or deliverance when the poo hits the fan, it's good to see a prominent Jewish person in the "fleet". (As long as he's not drawing an Admiral's wage also- Now there's an FOI Act query for our Norm).

It's somewhat surprising, given the amount of Muslims who join the service (Engineering Officers in particular) in relation to Jewish individuls, that I cannot recall meeting one at Flag Rank also.
