As far as I am aware, there is no order preventing RNR MOs doing PULHHEEMS - the change in provision is due to the medical documents being centralised away from the units. In my unit, the plan is to continue as usual, with the regional PSI bringing the docs to us once a month so we have the appropriate documentation to proceed.

It is, as you say, not yet clear what the long-term plan is as yet.

I would echo your comments about RNSMBOS - they are as fair to people as possible, and the fact that it is centralised (unlike in the army where there are regional medical boards) means that the decisions are consistent.

What is the way that we are supposed to know what to do about medicals etc.

This seems to vary from unit to unit. If your unit is currently doing medicals, there will be an appointments book somewhere - if sickbay don't hold it, the PSIs will.
