HELP!!! hms illustrious
hi everyone, i hope someone can help me? i travelled back from sierra leone late 2000 on hms illustrious, i was one of a couple of british army guys who was on board. on the way home a photograph was taken, from a helicopter, off the entire ships company on deck. i would love to get hold of a copy of this photo and was wondering (long shot!!!!!) if anyone on this forum was also on board and might have a copy or know where i might get hold of one?

Probably better to try the Fleet Photographic Unit, you may be able to get the address from the internet somewhere (RN Website?)

If you have access there's a large photo section on the MoD defence intranet (covers both services and the crabs).
