Ouch! Oh, presumably you had a parachute attached to your back?!
Some people are only alive because it's illegal to kill them...

Soiling myself, screaming, crying, dribbling etc.
    No change there then.....
    Are you bringing any weapons?
    Of course not.
    Then you're not changing anything.

On the Ajax in Chatham, dripping to the local press about another Naval tradition biting the dust. And all we got in its place was an extra tin egg a day. Not much of a replacement.

I too was on Ajax having just finished the round Scotland 'Meet the Navy' trip with it's ill fated 'dial a sailor' fiasco.

NASU Simbang tot was served by Fred the Butcher (Bootneck Chef) and Wyatt Earp (SA) we all got slaughtered - as I remember some of the livers out were skulking around trying to cadge a wet, we all got a commemrative sheild that probably came from some back street in Neesoon - by the was I still have the Paris Bar Christmas banner too.

Flat on my back with a bottle in my mouth......(about the same age as Sgt Pepper...) Lucky for me though my dad and his brother have introduced me to the tot and the ways. Glad that Pussers went on sale, its fair to say I have a regular habit, even got my "splice the mainbrace" bunting for birthdays, births etc.

Some of the other sprogs must have had the odd splice from Queen mothers birthday (80th, 100th or whatever it was), Queens colour etc. and if you were lucky it was real pussers and not just a Naafi bottle of Woods. Those were the start of some good runs.....

Anyone remember the lottery/auction of those bottles (stone flasks) of pussers they found in a clearout of some buildings at Drake (or somewhere similar) in the early 90's? I put a bid in, only knew one guy who actually got one.

Cant finish the post without a little sippers....as it Saturday,

Was only 5 at the time, but since I joined the Andrew I have been lucky enough to have spliced the mainbrace a number of times.
