wow your going in as a meteorologist too! thought I was the only one! at my interview they didn't ask mich related to that specialisation, only what I think that role entails. How long were you told the waiting list is for it?

12-09-12, 21:01 #7You have my curiosity piqued! On a previous thread you enquired about officer entry yet choose a trade that is not renowned for its career progression. Not saying you can't nor wont progress but as a rule of thumb, small branches of the RN tend to see slower promotion.
You have mentioned about moving from rating to officer and direct entry officer, implying some intent on advancing through the service and yet on this thread you choose a slow moving trade and then say you have all the time in the world!!!!
Very strange!
